How’s the pilot work?
We’ll learn a little bit about you, including your areas of interest, education and experience to date, areas of passion, etc. We’ll also review your resume and discuss interview best practices to set you up for success. Then we’ll match you with an involved employer based on our knowledge of their culture, skill needs, etc. You may interview with the employer or be placed immediately without an interview. There is no fee to participate in the pilot. At this time, length and type of employment is at the discretion of the employer.
Who Is Eligible and Why Should you Join?
Eligible participants 1) will have graduated from a post-secondary institution in 2013, 2014 or 2015, 2) are 35 years old or younger and 3) are eligible to work in Nova Scotia.
You’ll broaden your network by meeting Nova Scotia leaders, entrepreneurs, and business owners who are living their dream and looking for innovative young people like you! You’ll gain realworld, tangible experience to add to your portfolio and a reference who can speak to that experience. You’ll potentially find a career you love while being paid to do it! Or you’ll discover that the career you thought you wanted may not be for you (and that’s ok too).
