RBC Royal Bank is a dedicated supporter of Junior Achievement in Canada’s Atlantic region. RBC Future Launch is their strategic initiative to help youth prepare for the world of work. RBC Foundation has committed $44,500 in support of JA’s signature programs Economic for Success and Company Program in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador. Here in Nova Scotia, RBC has committed an additional $15,000 to support the launch of JA’s new program, World of Choices, which links career exploration and mentorship opportunities with a broader labour attachment strategy. In addition to RBC’s financial support, over 150 RBC staff members actively volunteer every year with JA in our region, delivering programs in the classroom, mentoring with Company Program and serving on volunteer committees and regional boards. JA would like to thank RBC for their continued generosity and community leadership in the area of financial literacy programming for youth.
Personally, we would like to thank the hands on help of Bruce Young, Lori Smith, Roger Howard, Darlene Connolly, Jennifer Logan, Phil Jenkins, Daniel Doucet, Mike James, Tyler Kenney, and many, many other amazing RBC friends and volunteers! Thank you RBC!
