Revolve Celebrates 30th Year in Business with $30,000 Grant to Junior Achievement of Nova Scotia
Halifax, NS – Five of Nova Scotia’s brightest young entrepreneurs are one step closer to unleashing their business ideas on the world, thanks to Revolve. As the finalists of Junior Achievement (JA) of Nova Scotia’s inaugural Hatch competition, they’re each vying for one of two grand prizes of $10,000 courtesy of Revolve – $7,500 in seed funding and $2,500 in branding and marketing services. Revolve is donating an additional $10,000 to JA to help administer the program.
But their journey isn’t over yet. To win the competition, each young entrepreneur will develop a five-page business plan and pitch their idea to a panel of judges from JA Nova Scotia and Revolve. The pitches will take place May 24 and the winners will be announced shortly after.
In its inaugural year, Hatch was developed and branded by Revolve for JA to help celebrate the firm’s 30th year in business.
“Hatch aligns well with Revolve’s entrepreneurial spirit and our passion for helping businesses grow and thrive,” says Revolve CEO Phil Otto. “Supporting Nova Scotia’s young entrepreneurs is crucial for the future success of our province. We can’t wait to help two zealous young people grow their businesses.”
“We received some phenomenal entries and are looking forward to hearing the finalists pitch their ideas,” says Kristin Williams, President & CEO of Junior Achievement of Nova Scotia. “The inaugural Hatch Competition has given both JA alumni and young entrepreneurs across Nova Scotia an incredible opportunity to turn their hard work into a thriving business.”
