Do you know what you want to with your life? What career path you want to pursue? What education you may need to achieve your dream job?
The information needed to confidently make these decisions is not easily accessible. Students and young adults struggle to make decisions about their future without knowing important information about their choices.
In partnership with JA, and with your help, we can create a business that will assist youth in making crucial decisions at a time when it really matters.
The project is the creation of a free to use, searchable website, dedicated to answering specific questions like: "What is it like to do...?", "What education will help me get there?" and "What do I need to do now to achieve that?".
Answering these questions properly will help individuals design their own critical career paths much more effectively.
The website could include:
Videos showing real people in real jobs, answering the questions you want to know.
A Critical Path analysis of how to get there including training, education and experience required and potential means of funding.
Actual job opportunities in the form of a job board, separate from and connected to the critical paths described.
Information about earning potential for each job.
The sponsorship, marketing and related opportunities for monetization stem primarily from connecting every job (page) and every item in the critical path to organizations needing to reach this user audience. These potential revenue streams are easily duplicated, repeated and scaled.
If you are a JA alumnus interested in partnering in and developing this business please contact firstname.lastname@example.org on or before March 15, 2016. Include your name, email and phone number for follow up.
